Recommended sequence

1. Back up the source site and keep the source plugin active.
2. Open DocToucan → Migrations and run discovery.
3. Review the bounded preview, mappings and every warning.
4. Import as Draft and verify modes, sources, hierarchy and taxonomies.
5. Rerun the same batch to confirm idempotency.
6. Publish only after reader actions and access assumptions are correct.

Source safety: DocToucan does not update or delete the source plugin data. Guarded rollback affects only unchanged Draft Documents created by the selected job.
