DocToucan Pro overview and setup
Extend the same central Documents with presentation, security, governance, search, migration and commerce operations.
Complete the guided setup
- Confirm that Pro is the active edition and your licence is recognised. Free and Pro are replacement editions, not an active plugin pair.
- Choose a reusable saved library and presentation preset.
- Verify protected storage before assigning access policies.
- Build the search index and review diagnostics.
- Review governance retention and support-bundle behaviour.
Entitlements
Paid features require the Pro runtime and a valid Freemius entitlement. A saved option cannot unlock a feature that is absent from Free. An unlicensed Pro installation retains the Free-facing foundation.
Deactivation and downgrade
Deactivation preserves central Documents and Pro operational data. Activate Free to resume the public library and documentation workflows after removing Pro. Protected operations remain unavailable until an entitled Pro edition is active again.
