The established workflow, clearly documented

Clean up media metadata without editing every file by hand.

SEO Media Manager was built to apply repeatable filename and metadata rules during upload, then bring the same workflow to existing WordPress media in batches.

A repeatable media workflow

Define the rules once, then apply them consistently.

The historic release combined automatic upload formatting with a batch processor for media already stored in WordPress.

Choose filename or fixed text as a source, remove selected characters or phrases, and control capitalisation.

Historic capabilities

The controls that shaped its media workflow.

This records the intended behaviour of the last audited release. It is a product reference, not a promise of search rankings or current platform compatibility.

Current product status

Supported as a legacy product, without pretending it is a modern release.

SEO Media Manager is not part of the current new-sales catalogue. The last audited public release is version 0.8, so this page does not claim compatibility with current WordPress, PHP, or third-party software.

  • Existing customers should not pay againContact WPGO from the original purchase email for access or licence questions.
  • FastSpring billing remains in placeExisting subscription actions continue through the relevant portal or support.
  • Compatibility is not assumedBack up and test a legacy build away from production before relying on it.
  • The workflow remains documentedThe real screens and intended capabilities are preserved here for reference.

Existing customers

Use the purchase email tied to the established record.

If you already have SEO Media Manager, there is no replacement subscription to start. Historic FastSpring purchases do not appear in the Freemius customer portal, so email WPGO from the address used for the purchase when you need licence, access, renewal, or transition help.

A clear product boundary

Useful metadata controls, with honest limits.

SEO Media Manager helped organise attachment metadata. Search engines and modern platform compatibility remain outside what this legacy page can promise.

Metadata organisation

Apply consistent formatting to selected WordPress attachment fields using saved rules.

No ranking guarantee

Cleaner metadata can improve editorial consistency, but no plugin can promise search placement.

Support before assumptions

Ask WPGO about access or compatibility questions before relying on a legacy installation.

SEO Media Manager FAQs

Need help with an established installation? Email WPGO support.

Is SEO Media Manager currently available to new customers?

No. It is not part of the current new-sales catalogue while the legacy entitlement and compatibility position is reviewed.

Do I need to pay again if I already have a licence?

No. Existing customers should contact WPGO from the email used for the original purchase rather than starting a replacement subscription.

Why is the purchase missing from the Freemius portal?

Historic SEO Media Manager subscriptions were processed through FastSpring. The current Freemius portal shows new Freemius purchases and does not import that earlier billing history.

Is version 0.8 compatible with the latest WordPress and PHP?

That is not guaranteed. Version 0.8 is the last audited public release; back up and test away from production before relying on it.

Which fields did the historic workflow manage?

Its rules covered the media title and, when selected, alt text, caption, description, and inserted-image title attribute, using upload and batch workflows.

Will it automatically improve search rankings?

No. The plugin was designed to make media metadata more consistent; search engines decide how that information is interpreted and ranked.
